OMS Antriebstechnik oHG is an international leader in the development and manufacture of drive designs for escalators and elevator systems. Our mid-sized company produces more than 25% of the escalator and travelator drives worldwide.
In 1997, decades of experience in the escalator business combined with close cooperation with our partner group Mitec AG brought a technical breakthrough in the elevator sector. The constant exchange of expertise between the two companies resulted in the development of hypoid-bevel gear technology.
All omsHypodrive units are based on this technology, which is distinguished by amazing versatility and extraordinary performance characteristics. These drives are setting new standards in drive technology for elevators and escalators, and are found in all state-of-the-art people-moving systems.
OMS Antriebstechnik oHG is based in Cornberg, in the German state of Hesse. The company's innovative research and development department as well as the production plant are located here. They are responsible for the continuous development, optimization and quality assurance of OMS products as well as for the planning, implementation and support of customized drive solutions for special applications.
