Founded in 1972 by Sergio Poletti, S.P.E. Elettronica Industriale is a family-owned company which has a long story into on-board and stand-alone battery chargers manufacturing, and is on the edge to research and develop solutions for charging batteries of any type, providing both standard and custom solutions.

Located in Crevalcore (Bologna, Italy), S.P.E. Elettronica Industriale has become over the years a leader in the electronic battery charger field. Thanks to its long experience and its continuous work of research and development made by 90 employees, S.P.E. is able to grant quality, reliability and satisfaction to its customers.
S.P.E. Elettronica Industriale exports its battery chargers and accessories all over the world, from Europe to America, from Asia to Australia and Africa. Thus, all S.P.E. battery chargers have the CE certification. More local approvals (PSE, KC, UL, cULus) are available on models. The company works with various qualified sub-contractors for PCB assembling in order to produce high-quality finished products for its clients.

The company also produces a wide range of high precision electronic battery indicators, battery monitors and data-loggers. The four main fields in which S.P.E. operates are: industrial cleaning machines, fork-lift trucks, electric vehicles and go-karts, and aerial platforms.

S.P.E. is divided in two locations, head quarter and main manufacturing plant, both of them in Crevalcore.
