The company Galli Erio S.R.L. began its activity in 1962 as "Officina Meccanica Galli Erio", individual firm on behalf of a third party, principally working in the oleo-dynamic sector (manufacturing of valves and other components in general).

Since 1980's the firm has been involved in manufacturing and projecting specific types of valves which are sold all around Europe: (valves for the control of the handling, resetting, pressure, reduction, etc.) it has projected and produced rotating joints of various types, …. in 1992 the firm became "Galli Erio & C., S.N.C.", and since then it has started to project, create and sell hydraulic and electro-hydraulic hose reels, making them become then its main product.

In January 2002 the firm transformed its corporate name in "Galli Erio S.R.L.".
