Our machine roomless (MRL/Gearless) elevator speed regulators are designed for elevator systems that do not have a machine room and where space allocated for a machine room is desired to be saved. They are a highly preferred product due to their ease of use and space-saving features. They represent the most advanced level in the elevator industry, capable of achieving high load capacities and high speeds.

Machine roomless (MRL/Gearless) elevator speed regulators are the type of speed regulator used in older elevators and are referred to as bi-directional. Because access to this regulator is difficult, braking is applied remotely by touching the brake lever via a coil. Then, the stop switch is activated with a second coil. This method is used in the brake testing of the elevator.

Unlike EN 81-20 and A3 regulators, machine roomless elevator speed regulators do not require any intervention in emergency situations.
