Our lower tension pulleys, which are complementary products for all our regulators, provide the necessary force corresponding to the weight required by the elevator speed regulator in situations where emergency braking is needed. This force then brakes the elevator regulator, engaging the cabin brake.
The stationary regulator rope activates the safety latches, which are the emergency brakes of the elevator cabin. The safety latches engage with the shaft rails, bringing the elevator to a safe stop.
